Hebrew media sources reported that massive fires broke out on Sunday in farmlands of Israeli settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip.
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said that flaming kites and balloons sent from the Gaza Strip set alight farmlands in 45 different locations in Israeli settlements neighboring the coastal enclave.
Since the start of the Great March of Return in the Gaza Strip dozens of kites made by Palestinian youths with flaming rags attached to their tails have been launched toward settler farmlands near the border fence causing heavy losses.
Gaza kite attacks came in response to Israeli aggressions against the peaceful protesters taking part in the Great March of Return.
