Militia of mutiny trend in Fatah executes four Qassam fighters

Monday 29-January-2007

GAZA (PIC)– Armed militia from the mutiny trend in Fatah faction have killed four Palestinian resistance fighters of the Qassam Brigades armed wing of Hamas Movement and the executive force of the PA interior ministry Sunday in Khan Younis city in southern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian resistance fighter Omar Sharrab of the Brigades was executed with one bullet in the head fired by Fatah vandals in cold blood moments after they kidnapped him.

Another Qassam fighter was shot dead as he attempted to rescue wounded comrades attacked by those militias in the same area.

In the Askola area in the Gaza city suburb of Al-Zaitoun two elements of the executive force Tarek Nasrallah 24 and Mahmoud Mushtaha 25 were also assassinated by the mutiny trend militia. Palestinian eyewitnesses affirmed that the attackers were shielded and assisted by the PA national security force that is loyal to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas.

Families of the two victims refused to mourn the martyrs affirming that they have full right to avenge their killing.

In northern Gaza Strip PA national security force assaulted a group of Qassam fighters monitoring the area to thwart possible IOF troops’ advance into it prompting armed clashes between the two groups.

PA national security forces that are nationally obliged to defend Palestinian territories were known for their languid role during IOF troops incursions into the Gaza Strip as they used to leave their posts and leave the defense battle to Qassam fighters.

As this develops Hamas Movement urged Fatah faction to clearly dissociate itself from those criminals who used the faction’s organizational cover to commit their crimes and called on it to join the Palestinian people in rejecting those suspicious groups and stripping them of any organizational cover.

“Hamas will remain steadfast on its principles and will not allow the mutiny trend in Fatah faction to achieve what the IOF troops failed to accoplish in Gaza Strip despite its military might” the Movement affirmed in a statement it issued Sunday and a copy of which was obtained by the PIC adding that it is about time to fold the page of traitors in the Palestinian arena once and for all.

The Movement furthermore urged Palestinian masses to intensify their presence in and around local mosques to thwart any further attempts by those hooligans to kill Muslims in Mosques as they did in the Gaza city’s Al-Hedaya Mosque where four worshipers were killed while performing their Isha’a prayer.
