Two Palestinian youths were killed by the Israeli occupation forces and dozens left injured on Friday following clashes rocking the Palestinian territories.
16-year-old Palestinian minor Abdul Rahman Abu Hmeissa was fatally gunned down by Israeli snipers near al-Bureij Camp in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Two young men in their 20s were rushed to Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital so as to be treated for moderate leg wounds inflicted in the sniper attack.
Dozens of Gazans flocked to the border area near al-Bureij Camp and burned tires in protest at the Israeli assaults and tough restrictions at al-Aqsa Mosque.
Sometime earlier the Palestinian Health Ministry announced the death of 24-year-old Abdullah Taqatqa on allegations that he attempted to carry out an anti-occupation stabbing near Etzion crossroads south of Bethlehem.
The Israeli soldiers wrapped the casualty’s body in a black plastic bag and transferred it to an unknown destination.
At the same time cameraman Aymen al-Noubani working for Wafa News Agency was shot and injured by the Israeli army as he took footage of an Israeli assault on a peaceful march staged near Hawara checkpoint south of Nablus in support of al-Aqsa Mosque.
Several protesters sustained rubber bullet wounds and others choked on teargas after the Israeli forces aggressively disbanded worshipers in Nablus Jerusalem and Bethlehem streets.
At least four Palestinian protesters were kidnapped and two others injured after Israeli undercover troops attacked a peaceful march held near the northern entrance to al-Bireh.
The occupation army targeted the Palestinian rally-goers during a mass rally organized by Hamas in the southern West Bank province of al-Khalil with rubber bullets and toxic gas leaving several protesters wounded. At least five wounded Palestinians were evacuated to al-Khalil’s public hospital.
The occupation soldiers stormed the hospital in the hunt for the wounded protesters. Several patients sustained breathing disorders due to the random spates of teargas unleashed by the Israeli forces.
Fierce clashes further rocked al-Khalil’s town of Beit Ummar and al-Arroub camp where the occupation troops attacked Palestinian anti-occupation youth with bullet fire and teargas.
At the same time violent clashes flared up in Tulkarem province after the Israeli military forces cracked down on a march condemning the Israeli measures at al-Aqsa Mosque.
