Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up the mother of a Palestinian prisoner and two young men in Dosheisha refugee camp in southern Bethlehem on Friday.
Local sources said that IOF soldiers forced their way into the home of prisoner Akram al-Attairi who has been in Israeli custody for months and took away his mother Dareen al-Maghrabi.
The two young men were rounded up after breaking into their families’ homes and wreaking havoc on them the sources added.
Meanwhile on Thursday evening IOF soldiers detained at least seven Palestinians including a minor in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem.
A Palestinian young man was detained from his house in Tel Rumeida in al-Khalil and taken to an unknown detention center.
A 17-year-old boy was also rounded up at an Israeli checkpoint south of Qalqilya to the north of the West Bank.
In Occupied Jerusalem Israeli police forces arrested four Palestinian youths at the entrance to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The four detainees were later taken to a nearby investigation center.
Israeli police earlier assaulted and expelled a group of school boys while playing football in the courtyards of al-Aqsa.
The Israeli occupation army carries out frequent arrest campaigns across the West Bank including Jerusalem under the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians.
According to Palestinian figures roughly 4800 Palestinians including women and children are currently languishing in Israeli detention facilities.
