Minors among several Palestinians kidnapped by Israeli army

Several Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in predawn sweeps launched across the West Bank on Sunday.

The Israeli army claimed responsibility for the abduction of 11 Palestinians on allegations of involvement in anti-occupation activities.

Palestinian citizen Ismail Za’oul was kidnapped by the IOF from his family home in Bethlehem’s town of Husan.

Layth Aby Akr a 14-year-old minor was also kidnapped by the occupation soldiers as he walked near a military watchtower adjacent to Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem.

Heavily-armed occupation soldiers also stormed al-Khalil’s northern town of Beit Ummar at the crack of dawn and ransacked civilian homes attacking the residents all the way through the assault.

A minor—Karim Abu Maria aged 16—along with two young men among them an ex-prisoner were kidnapped by the IOF in the assault. 16-year-old Alaa Mukbil was summoned to questioning at Etzion detention center.

At around 03:00 a.m. Israeli military forces broke into the headquarters of Marda charitable organization north of Salfit province after they smashed its entrance gate. A heavy damage was wrought by the Israeli break-in on the office.
