Head of Hamas’s foreign political bureau Khaled Mishaal has said that “the Palestinian resistance in Gaza has succeeded in smashing the Israeli occupation army’s image.”
In an interview conducted with him by al-Aqsa satellite channel Mishaal expressed his belief that no one can wager on the Israeli occupation state after the resistance dealt severe damage to its image.
“Our people in Gaza and Jerusalem breathed new life into the intifada (uprising) and Gaza made the impossible possible when it rose up for Jerusalem” the Hamas leader said.
He also stressed the need for the Palestinians in the West Bank and the 1948 occupied lands to continue and escalate their uprising against the Israeli occupation.
