Head of Hamas’s foreign political bureau Khaled Mishaal has described “the Sword of Jerusalem” battle as an important milestone on the path to liberation and in the history of the Palestinian people.”
“The Palestinian resistance’s message was clear and the enemy understood it” Mishaal said in televised remarks on Friday.
“Netanyahu was forced to stop the aggression after the Zionist entity lost its image” the Hamas leader said.
He affirmed that the Palestinian people despite their wounds stood tall during the aggression against Gaza while their resistance prepared itself for a long battle.
The Hamas leader described the prices the Palestinian people pay for their sacrifices as “normal” stressing that there is no liberation without sacrifices. “Is there a people who was able to liberate their land without making sacrifices?”
As for the stated international efforts to help post-war Gaza he called for contributing to the reconstruction of Gaza by direct support from countries highlighting that Gaza needs a lot of support as a result of its exposure to four wars.
