Head of Hamas’s foreign political bureau Khaled Mishaal has revealed that there are national efforts to unify the Palestinian front stressing the need to rebuild the Palestinian people’s struggle program.
“We do not seek to marginalize anyone but we cannot accept a monopoly over [the Palestinian] leadership” Mishaal said in an online debate on the future of the Palestinian cause in light of the current regional and international changes.
He called for activating the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) describing its current stagnant state as “unacceptable.”
The Hamas leader pointed out that the resistance operations increased during 2021 compared to 2020 despite the security cooperation between the Palestinian Authority and the occupation state.
He also affirmed that his Movement seeks to use all possible tactics and means to develop the resistance on all fronts adding that the next stage would witness an improvement in the resistance’s military capabilities.
Mishaal called for necessarily escalating the resistance operations on all Palestinian fronts including 1948 occupied Palestine and closing ranks against the occupation.
