DAMASCUS (PIC)– Hamas supreme leader Khaled Mishaal is to meet with Arab League secretary general Amre Mousa later Monday in Damascus to discuss means of activating the dialogue channels between Hamas and Fatah factions.
Senior Palestinian sources told Quds Press that the discussion would probe means of patching up differences between the two movements after the Gaza incidents in which Hamas took over security control of the entire Strip to put an end to security chaos.
A Hamas parliamentary delegation had briefed Mousa on Saturday evening on the overall conditions in the Strip and cleared the smeared image which Fatah parliamentarians had carried to Mousa about the situation in the Strip.
