SANA’A (PIC)– Khaled Mishaal the political bureau chairman of the Hamas Movement arrived in Sana’a on Sunday to take part in the funeral procession of the late Yemeni parliament speaker Sheikh Abdullah bin Hussein Al-Ahmar scheduled on Monday.
The information bureau of Hamas said that Mishaal heading an official delegation arrived in the Yemeni capital to extend condolences to the Yemeni leadership and the Islah party family and tribe of Sheikh Al-Ahmar.
The Hamas Movement had issued a statement mourning Sheikh Al-Ahmar who died Saturday in a Riyadh hospital after a long suffering from a chronic disease.
Sheikh Al-Ahmar was well known for his fervent support for the Arab and Islamic causes especially the Palestine cause and had headed a number of popular societies supporting Palestine.
