The United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nickolay Mladenov met with Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haneyya in his office in Gaza city Palestinian sources revealed on Thursday.
Quds Press quoted the sources as saying that the meeting followed Mladenov’s visit to the power plant in Gaza where he met with the officials there.
The UN official escorted by six of his assistants arrived Wednesday morning to Gaza Strip via Beit Hanoun crossing on a few-hour visit one week after meeting with Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas in his office in Ramallah where they held talks on Gaza power crisis.
