Wednesday 16-December-2020

Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday morning from the Maghareba Gate.

The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem stated that 115 settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and carried out provocative tours under heavy police protection.

The settler incursions are part of periodic tours aiming to change the fait accompli in the Holy City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

During the evening incursions the Israeli police provided the settlers an additional half hour between 12:30 and 2:00 instead of 1:30.

Calls continue for all Muslims in 1948 occupied Palestine and the people of Jerusalem to intensify their presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque to repel the Jewish settler’ incursions.

According to a periodic report issued by Hamas’s media office in West Bank the occupation forces committed 2050 violations against the Palestinians and their lands in the West Bank and Jerusalem during November.

The number of attacks on places of worship and sanctuaries was 24 while the number of settlers who broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque reached 1361.

The Israeli police deported 10 Palestinians from their places of residence and from Al-Aqsa Mosque including guards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque the Deputy Director-General of the Jerusalem Endowments Department and the Director of the Manuscripts Center at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
