108 Jewish settlers defiled on Sunday the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque while the Israeli occupation intelligence agency summoned the director of the Mosque Omar Al-Kiswani for investigation.
Jerusalemite sources reported that 56 settlers and 52 Jewish students broke into Al-Aqsa from the Al-Maghareba Gate under Israeli police protection.
Settlers carried out a provocative tour in the Mosque’s courtyards before leaving it from the al-Silsila Gate according to the sources.
In another development the Islamic Endowments Department in Occupied Jerusalem announced that the occupation police had asked Sheikh Kiswani to go immediately for investigation in Room 4 of the intelligence agency.
Local sources pointed out that it was not the first time that Sheikh Al-Kiswani was summoned for interrogation.
Jerusalem is witnessing a remarkable escalation by the Israeli occupation authorities as the occupation police attacked for the fifth consecutive day the young men in the Old City while the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed frequent incursions and the arrest of young men from inside the Mosque.
