Jewish settlers stormed on Wednesday morning the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli police protection.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Occupied Jerusalem reported that 58 settlers broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Meanwhile the occupation police arrested the young Jerusalemite Ahmed Marwan Abu Jumaa in al-Tur town east of Jerusalem after storming his home.
The Israeli authorities also extended the detention of four other young men from Silwan without scheduling a date for their next hearing.
On Tuesday evening the Israeli police stormed the Mosque and cut off wires of the loudspeakers at its minarets.
