British Muslim activists have called for not leaving the Palestinians in Occupied Jerusalem to confront US president Donald Trump’s recognition of their city as Israel’s capital.
This came in speeches delivered by activists during a massive pro-Palestine rally organized on Saturday outside the US embassy in London by the Palestinian Forum in Britain the Pakistani Community and the Birmingham Mosques Committee.
The participants carried placards describing Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine and denouncing the US for giving itself the right to declare the city as Israel’s capital.
Activists in their speeches also condemned the US bias in favor of Israel and expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people and their prisoners in Israeli jails.
