Senior Hamas official Mustafa Abu Arra who has been in administrative detention for over three weeks is exposed to medical neglect and deprived of his medication by the Israeli prison service his family said.
According to his son Zaid 60-year-old Abu Arra was kidnaped from his home in Aqqaba town in northern Tubas at dawn May 12 as part of the large-scale Israeli arrest campaign that took place in the West Bank during the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
Zaid said that his father suffers from different chronic health problems and takes six types of medication every day most importantly his enzyme medicine which he vitally needs unlike other medicines because any delaying in taking it will cause his spleen to enlarge and his blood platelets to increase and thus lead to a serious health collapse.
His son called for necessarily releasing his sick father especially since he is administratively detained with no indictment and appealed to the Red Cross to urgently intervene to save his life.
