NABLUS (PIC)– Sheikh Ahmed Shubash the Mufti of Nablus city on Monday called on Arab and Muslim masses to hit the streets in massive rallies in support of the holy Aqsa Mosque and occupied Jerusalem.
He appealed to the Arab and Islamic governments along with concerned organizations such as the Arab League and the OIC to exert all efforts possible to ascertain sanctity of the Aqsa Mosque and support Palestinian Jerusalemites.
He said that the popular and official protests must be so big that Israel would know for sure that the entire Muslim Ummah would not remain idle if something bad happened to the holy site.
Shubash described the Makkahh agreement as “honorable” that returned the Palestine cause to its correct course. He championed Palestinian national unity to “confront dangers threatening our land and future”.
