NABLUS (PIC)– The Nablus municipality council on Wednesday deplored the unjust six-month administrative sentence against Nablus mayor Adli Ya’ish stressing it was part of the Israeli ongoing aggressions on the Palestinian people and their democratically-elected leaders.
“These measures against PA leaders are an attack on the entire Palestinian people and the international legitimacy and conventions” according to a statement issued by the municipality.
The municipality also appealed to all friendly and peace-loving states and human rights organizations to pressure the IOA to the release all kidnapped mayors and members of municipal councils.
In another development the IOF troops invaded the Nablus city and more than ten villages in its environs on Wednesday where they went on the rampage and kidnapped six Palestinian citizens including young boys. During these incursions the IOF troops fired sonic bombs and live bullets in civilian neighborhoods.
