The head of the Hamas Movement’s Department of Politics and Foreign Relations Basem Naim has condemned the statements of the Ukrainian embassy to the Israeli occupation state which labeled Hamas as a “terrorist” organization.
In a press release on Wednesday Naim stressed that the Ukrainian embassy’s statement that described the Movement as “terrorist” following the Movement’s leadership’s visit to Russia are rejected and denounced.
“Resisting the Israeli occupation that has been killing and displacing Palestinians for more than seventy years is a legitimate right guaranteed under international laws and conventions” Naim asserted.
He added that Israel that commits crimes against humanity around the clock is an “apartheid entity” as termed by many human rights and international organizations calling for boycotting Israel and prosecuting its leaders as war criminals.
Earlier on Saturday a high-level delegation from the Hamas Movement led by head of its political bureau Ismail Haneyya arrived in the Russian capital Moscow to hold talks with Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov and other top officials.
