Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated his vow not to remove any settlement in what he called Judea and Samaria (the West Bank).
Netanyahu made his remarks in a speech he delivered at a ceremony held recently to mark 50 years of settlement activities in the West Bank east Jerusalem the Golan Heights and the Jordan Valley.
“We have brought about magnificent settlement in Judea and Samaria that we are maintaining and strengthening responsibly wisely and persistently” he said.
“Settlement is important to you my friends. It is no less important to me and therefore I tell you clearly and before anything: There will be no more uprooting of communities in the land of Israel” the Israeli premier added.
