Israeli warplanes on Monday afternoon launched at least four airstrikes on a Palestinian resistance site in the southern area of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that Israeli warplanes fired four missiles at a resistance site west of Khan Younis City with no injuries reported.
Meanwhile Israeli tanks stationed at the border fence between the Gaza Strip and the 1948 Occupied Territories bombed another resistance site east of al-Bureij refugee camp in the central area of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli media sources quoting the Israeli occupation army reported that the strikes targeted sites belonging to the Islamic Jihad Movement in Gaza.
Earlier in the day a spokesman for the Israeli occupation army said that 14 projectiles were fired from the Gaza Strip toward Israeli settlements claiming that the Iron Dome intercepted 12 of them.
