Beit Lahia – Apparently encouraged by the heroic act of the Palestinian citizens in Jabalia town hundreds of Palestinian citizens rushed to the home of Palestinian fighter in Beit Lahia city in northern Gaza Strip and protected it from a threatened Israeli aerial raid Monday.
Within a very short time the Palestinian masses surrounded house of Wael Rajab the commander of the executive force of the PA interior ministry in the city moments after residents of the house were ordered by the Israeli intelligence apparatus to vacate it.
Palestinian masses led by Hamas prominent political leader Dr. Nizar Rayyan succeeded in forming a human shield around house of Palestinian fighter in Jabalia town in northern Gaza Strip Saturday night.
The exemplary heroism of Rayyan and his followers was widely hailed in the Palestinian street which serves as “a wake up call” from the Palestinian people to the international community to break its silence vis-à-vis the Israeli brutal crimes against the unarmed Palestinian people.
Rayyan declared a national campaign to defend homes of the Palestinian resistance fighters and urged Palestinian citizens to repeat the example in Jabalia and Beit Lahia in every threatened Palestinian home.
“Those fighters are scarificing their souls in defense of the Palestinian people and therefore we should pay them back and sacrifice our souls in protecting their homes” Rayyan was quoted as affirming.
