Israeli bulldozers on Wednesday leveled Palestinian lands in Beit Ta’mir village east of Bethlehem city in preparation for the establishment of a settler park.
Hasan Brijiyyeh a representative of the National Committee against the Wall and Settlement said that Israeli bulldozers leveled Palestinian-owned lands located between the two illegal Israeli settlements of Nokdim and Kfar Eldad.
Brijiyyeh told Wafa news agency that the project will be implemented on a 100-dunum area and will include new roads trees and benches in order to connect the two settlements together.
Israel has recently stepped up its settlement activity in different areas of Bethlehem. The Israeli government for example had approved the construction of 270 housing units in Neve Daniel and Kfar Eldad settlements.
