The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped last night and at dawn Sunday nine Palestinian citizens in different West Bank areas.

According to local sources several Israeli plain-clothes forces kidnapped a Palestinian young man last night from a gas station in al-Khalil city before other soldiers stormed the same place and confiscated security camera recordings.

For its part the Palestinian Prisoner society said that eight Palestinian citizens were kidnapped from their homes in IOF campaigns in areas in “Ramallah and al-Bireh” province and Jenin.

Six of those detainees are from al-Jalazoun refugee camp north of Ramallah and the other two are brothers from Barta’a town in Jenin.

The IOF also stormed at dawn the towns of al-Khader in Bethlehem and al-Nasariya village in the Jordan Valley and raided several homes with no reported arrests.

RAMALLAH (PIC)– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Friday kidnapped nine Palestinian young men from their homes during campaigns in different areas of Jerusalem and the West Bank.

Local sources in Jerusalem said that the Israeli police forces stormed al-Suwanna neighborhood in east Jerusalem and kidnapped a young man identified as Ahmed al-Alami from his home.

In Ramallah another young man called Ahmed al-Hareesh was also taken prisoner during a raid on his home in Beitunia town west of the city.

The IOF also raided at dawn some homes in the towns of Safa and Beit Ur al-Tahta in Ramallah province with no reported arrests.

Skirmishes however took place between Palestinian young men and Israeli soldiers during the campaign in Beit Ur al-Tahta.

In Bethlehem the IOF ransacked the house of 21-year-old Khudair Abu Khudair in Aida refugee camp before taking him handcuffed to an undeclared place.

Different areas of al-Khalil also saw similar campaigns where six young men were reportedly kidnapped from their homes.
