The Palestinian health ministry on Thursday reported nine new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 683 new positive tests and 254 recoveries in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report the new victims who died of the virus are from different areas of the West Bank and 45 of the new cases are from the Gaza Strip.
42 critically ill patients have also been admitted to intensive care units and nine of them have been placed on ventilators.
69.3 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 30 percent and the rate of deaths is 0.7 percent of the total cases.
130 of the recovered patients have been recorded in al-Khalil province 32 in Jenin 29 in Tulkarem 31 in Qalqilya 2 in Salfit and 30 in the Gaza Strip.
