The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its concerns over the US tendency to endorse Jerusalem as capital of Israel and moving the US Embassy to the holy city.
In a press statement published by Kuwait news agency (KUNA) on Sunday the OIC affirmed its refusal of any attempts or measures that would change the status quo in Occupied Jerusalem and warned of the sequences of such a serious move.
The OIC stated that the US intention which has been recently dominant in the media runs contrary to the international law principles and the resolutions of the UN Security Council especially Resolution 478 which calls on the states that established diplomatic missions in Occupied Jerusalem to withdraw those missions from the sacred city.
