A Palestinian youth being sought over an anti-occupation drive-by shooting attack near the Israeli settlement of Ofra was killed by the Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday evening.
The Israeli intelligence Shin Bet said 29-year-old Saleh Omar Barghouti from Kobar village in the occupation West Bank was shot injured and arrested. He was pronounced dead shortly after.
Another young man allegedly responsible for the anti-occupation attack was also arrested.
Activist Abdul Razaq Arouri said special Israeli units opened fire at a taxi near Serda town before they kidnapped al-Barghouti who was on his way back home from his workplace north of Ramallah.
His family continues to appeal for information about his whereabouts.
On December 9 seven Israelis residing in an illegal settlement built on Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank were injured in an anti-occupation shooting attack near Ofra.
