NAZARETH (PIC)– Israeli premier Ehud Olmert has affirmed that his IOF troops would continue military attacks in the Gaza Strip against those launching missiles at Israeli settlements.
Olmert addressing the opening session of his weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday said that Israel “will never hesitate and will target all those launching missiles wherever they may be”.
He noted that many Palestinian resistance fighters launching the locally made missiles were hit over the past few weeks.
Meanwhile the Hebrew radio quoted an IOF spokesman as saying that the army decided to expand its military incursions and operations in Gaza to “abort” Palestinian resistance attacks and to block the infiltration of Palestinians into the 1948 occupied lands.
The source underlined that it was impossible to wipe out the Palestinian resistance through military operations highlighting that his troops’ operations only target to impede its ability to work freely.
