The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Saturday a number of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank and wounded a young man during clashes in the east Jerusalem town of Izzariya.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a young man after ransacking his home in Jaba town south of Jenin.
Two other young men from Jenin were kidnaped by the IOF at the Za’tara checkpoint in southern Nablus.
In Jenin the IOF set up a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance of Zububa village and embarked on intercepting cars for security check.
The IOF also intensified its presence in and around villages and towns in the south and northeast of Jenin.
In Bethlehem the IOF raided a house in Wad Shahin area and kidnaped a 40-year-old citizen called Ziyad Khalif.
In east Jerusalem a young man suffered a moderate bullet injury when the IOF fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters during clashes with local youths in Izzariya town.
Meanwhile the IOF raided several homes in Sur Baher village southeast of Jerusalem with no reported arrests.
