The Palestinian health ministry on Thursday reported one new death associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 349 new positive tests and 316 recoveries in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report the victim who died of the virus is from the West Bank.
Moreover 57 critically ill COVID-19 patients are being treated in intensive care units and 12 of them have been placed on ventilators.
An additional 100 patients are also receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers in the West Bank.
98.2 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 0.8 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.0 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
