The Palestinian health ministry on Sunday reported one new death associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 377 new positive tests and 126 recoveries in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report the victim who died of the virus is from the West Bank.
17 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and three of them have been placed on ventilators.
In addition another 39 patients are receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers in the West Bank.
97.8 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 1.1 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
