The Palestinian health ministry on Wednesday reported one new death associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 89 new positive tests and 192 recoveries in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report the victim who died of the virus is from Gaza.
17 COVID-19 patients are also receiving medical care in hospitals and special treatment centers and six of them have been admitted to intensive care units.
98.3 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 0.6 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
