The Palestinian health ministry reported one death associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 795 new positive tests and 3211 recoveries in the West Bank the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem during the period between August 16 and 21.
This came in a new COVID-19 situation report released on Sunday by the Palestinian health ministry in Ramallah.
According to the report 179 of the new COVID-19 cases are from the West Bank while one death and 556 cases are from Gaza and 60 cases from Jerusalem.
During the reporting period 28 COVID-19 patients were admitted to hospitals and seven of them were in critical condition receiving treatment in intensive care units.
