Moroccan premier Saadeddine Othmani has affirmed that his country will continue to support the Palestinian people until they realize their aspiration for an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Addressing his cabinet on Thursday Othmani highlighted his country’s unique and historic relations with Jerusalem and Palestine.
He reiterated his country’s condemnation of Israel’s recent carnage in Gaza and the US embassy opening in Occupied Jerusalem and expressed his thanks to all groups institutions and citizens in Morocco for their honorable positions in this regard.
Since last Sunday several Moroccan cities have been seeing daily protests in support of the Palestinian people.
