Over 100 settlers defile Aqsa Mosque under police guard

Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem under tight police protection on Monday morning and later in the afternoon.

At least 114 settlers entered the Mosque in different groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police guard according to al-Qastal News website.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile the Israeli occupation police imposed movement restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates.

The Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Israeli police close al-Maghariba Gate which is used by Jews to enter the Mosque at 10:30 am after the settlers complete their morning tours at the holy site. Later in the afternoon the same gate is reopened for evening tours by settlers.

During the presence of settlers inside the Mosque compound entry restrictions are imposed on Muslim worshipers at the entrances leading to the Mosque and their IDs could be seized until they leave the holy place.

Dozens of Jewish settlers on Tuesday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.

About 108 settlers including students of religious institutions and intelligence officers entered the Mosque through its Maghariba Gate in groups and toured its courtyards under tight police protection according to local sources.

The Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Israeli police close al-Maghariba Gate which is used by Jews to enter the Mosque at 10:30 am after the settlers complete their morning tours at the holy site. Later in the afternoon the same gate is reopened for evening tours by settlers.

Dozens of Jewish settlers escorted by police forces on Wednesday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.

According to local sources 101 settlers entered the Mosque through al-Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police protection.

Some of the settlers reportedly performed Talmudic prayers during the morning tours.

Meanwhile the Israeli occupation police issued an arbitrary order banning a Jerusalemite young man from entering the Aqsa Mosque for one week.

According to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center the Israeli police released Muaad Abu Arafah on condition of staying away from the Aqsa Mosque for one week and coming back again for another interview.

Police forces kidnaped Abu Arafah a resident of Ras al-Amud neighborhood in the Jerusalem district of Silwan from his workplace on Tuesday. They also ransacked his office and confiscated his cellphone during the raid.

The police interrogated him about religious lessons he had delivered at the Aqsa Mosque.

In a separate incident an Israeli court postponed the release of Jerusalemite prisoner Mohamed Abu Nab a resident of Ras al-Amud after he completed serving his 12-month prison term.

112 settlers including 65 students of Jewish institutes entered the Mosque through al-Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards in groups according to the Islamic Awqaf Administration in Jerusalem.

Some of the settlers reportedly performed Jewish prayers during the tours especially in the eastern area of the Aqsa Mosque.

The Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturdays.

Dozens of Jewish settlers on Monday morning stormed the Aqsa Mosque and desecrated its courtyards under tight police protection.

At least 117 settlers toured the Mosque’s courtyards in groups especially its eastern area and some of them were seen performing Talmudic prayers according to local sources.

Students of Jewish religious institutes were also among those settlers who defiled the Mosque in the morning hours.

Dozens of Jewish settlers escorted by police forces on Wednesday morning entered the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem and desecrated its courtyards.

According to the Islamic Awqaf Department at least 110 settlers stormed the Aqsa Mosque and toured its courtyards in different groups.

Meanwhile the Popular Committees for the Defense of the Aqsa Mosque has urged the Palestinian masses to intensify their presence at the Mosque on the Day of Arafah (July 30) and during Eid al-Adha (July 31).

The Committees called on the Palestinians from Jerusalem and the 1948 occupied lands to defend the Aqsa Mosque during these days against Jewish settlers’ intent to defile it en masse to mark what they call the anniversary of the temple destruction.
