The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Monday over 40 Palestinian citizens during a large-scale campaign in different West Bank areas most of them from al-Khalil.
According to local sources most of the detainees are citizens affiliated with the Hamas Movement and were kidnaped from their homes.
In Nablus City two young men suffered bullet injuries when the IOF opened fire at local youths during clashes with them in Khilat al-Amud area.
The IOF also kidnaped two young men from Khilat al-Amud area and Beit Furik town in Nablus.
In al-Khalil over 30 citizens were reportedly taken prisoners during IOF raids on homes in different areas of al-Khalil. Later some of those detainees were reportedly released.
The IOF also kidnaped one citizen from al-Jalazon refugee camp in Ramallah and three others from Jayyous town in Qalqilya.
In Jenin the IOF raided homes in Sanur town where they kidnaped a young man from his home and interrogated a citizen.
Another citizen was also kidnaped by the IOF from his home in the north of Jenin City.
In Bethlehem the IOF kidnaped two citizens after ransacking their homes in al-Deheisha refugee camp.
