Dozens of Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Thursday in abduction sweeps rocking the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Ex-prisoner Omar Saleh al-Barghouti also the father of slain Saleh al-Barghouti killed a few hours earlier by the Israeli army was kidnapped in an assault on his family home in Kober north of Ramallah.
Saleh’s brother Assef and two other family members along with three Palestinian locals were kidnapped in the assault.
Ex-prisoner Faze’ Sawafta and two other civilians were kidnapped by the IOF from their homes in Tubas.
The occupation forces also kidnapped a number of ex-prisoners from the Buhkar family from their homes in Askar al-Jadid camp east of Nablus.
A few hours earlier anti-occupation attacker Ashraf Na’luwa was assassinated by the Israeli military at the Bushkar family home in Askar camp.
A number of Palestinians were chased down by the occupation army in Rmallah’s northeastern town of Silwad.
The campaign culminated in the abduction of 24 Palestinians from occupied Jerusalem.
The IOF ransacked civilian homes all the way through.
