Jewish settlers broke into the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque under the Israeli police protection on Wednesday.
Jerusalemite sources reported that 61 settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa in groups from the Magharabi Gate with the participation of the Knesset members.
The sources pointed out that the settlers carried out provocative tours in the Mosque’s courtyards during which they received explanations about the alleged temple.
The occupation police impose strict security measures in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City to secure the settlers’ incursions into the Mosque.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is witnessing daily except on Fridays and Saturdays incursions and violations by settlers and the occupation police and in two shifts in the morning and evening.
