GAZA (PIC)– PA Prime Minister Ismael Haneyya has expressed his government’s full support and high esteem to the Palestinian laborers describing them as tools of the sincere Palestinian national work that enhanced belongingness to Palestine and adherence to the Palestinian national constants.
“Our laborers were the most affected sector in the Palestinian community due to the unjust economic sanctions imposed on our Palestinian people and it was the sector that most suffered of the Israeli humiliating and oppressing practices” Haneyya pointed out.
The premier hailed the “distinguished” patience and steadfastness that the Palestinian laborers have and still are showing despite the crippling sanctions adding that such patience and steadfastness were main pillars in enhancing firmness and resoluteness of the Palestinian people in confronting the Israeli occupation government and the persistent international blackmail campaigns.
In addition Haneyya pledged to give more attention to the Palestinian laborers urging the Palestinian people to support the Palestinian laborers in order to give them the honorable life they and their families deserve.
For his part acting PLC speaker Dr. Ahmad Bahar underlined the PA legislature’s support to the Palestinian laborers affirming that the support will be “in deeds and not only in words” stressing that the PLC will strive hard to support the laborers’ demands and needs urging the PA government and presidency to answer the laborers’ life necessities.
He also noted that the unjust economic siege that the USA Israel and their regional and international allies had and still are imposing on the Palestinian people had affected more than 100000 Palestinian laborers which in return inflicted adverse repercussions on hundreds of thousands of Palestinian individuals.
Bahar furthermore called on the legislative and executive branches of the PA as well as international and regional human rights and legal institutions to swiftly extend a helping hand to the Palestinian laborers.
