GAZA (PIC)– Elements of the PA Presidential Guards have killed on Friday afternoon a Palestinian fisherman while working at Gaza’s seashore according to eyewitnesses.
Eyewitnesses told PIC that elements of the Presidential Guards who take “al-Muntada” as one of their head quarters fired shots at Samir al-Amoudi who is 43 years old fisherman from the Shati refugee camp near Gaza City while he was going about his business near the port of Gaza killing him instantly.
Some Fatah affiliated websites reported that the fisherman was killed by Qassam Brigades fighters and elements of the Interior Ministry’s Executive Force. But this was belied by eyewitnesses on the one hand and on the other it is impossible for Qassam Brigades fighters or Executive Force elements to reach the place because of the presence of tens of road blocks on the way to that area.
Mahmoud al-Amoudi a relative of the victim said that Samir was on his way to earn a living for his children when the Presidential Guards shot him dead at the entrance of the fishermen’s port.
Mahmoud further said for what reason has Samir been executed he is an ordinary citizen who is not affiliated with any faction.
