The Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces have launched since Wednesday afternoon a frenzied arrest campaign against Hamas members and supporters in the occupied West Bank and kidnapped dozens of them from their homes until the early morning hours of Thursday.
According to local sources over 100 citizens mostly ex-detainees and university students affiliated with Hamas were kidnapped from their homes or detained in different areas of the West Bank.
The PA security forces carried out violent raids on the homes of the detainees and physically assaulted many of them during the campaign.
