PA cabinet accuses unpatriotic parties of working to topple unity government

Wednesday 13-June-2007

GAZA (PIC)– An official source at the PA premiership on Tuesday accused elements “linked to hostile parties” of working to topple the national unity government.

“There are leaders in Fatah who do not believe in political partnership and seek to confuse the Palestinian arena” the source stated in a press release.

The statement came after the cabinet headquarters on Monday came under fire by gunmen of the mutiny trend in Fatah during the weekly government meeting which was adjourned by PA premier Ismail Haneyya after the shooting. Furthermore on Tuesday an RPG hit the premier’s house in the Shati refugee camp west of Gaza Strip.
