GAZA (PIC)– The PA unity government which currently serves as a caretaker government after PA chief Mahmoud Abbas dissolved it has urged Abbas to shoulder national responsibility and to punish Fatah vandals for their crimes in the West Bank.
The government also called on Abbas to immediately resume national dialogue under Arab umbrella deploring “abnormal” voices from within Abbas’ inner circle that badmouthed Arab League secretary-general Amre Mousa.
During its first session since it was dissolved last week the PA caretaker government stressed on the unity of the Palestinian lands affirming that Gaza Strip the West Bank and the 1948-ouccpied Palestinian lands are inseparable parts of historical Palestine.
In this context the government assured Palestinian citizens especially in Gaza Strip that their lives property and honor will be protected urging those who left Gaza Strip after Hamas routed elements of the “treason trend” to return home.
It also hailed the tremendous accomplishments that have been achieved so far in resolving family feuds and starting national reconciliation. Many Palestinian families had amicably resolved their rows after premier Ismail Haneyya’s call on them to reconcile and to forgive each other.
The government also welcomed the AL decision of sending a fact-finding committee to examine events in Gaza Strip and to check stability and calm there.
Moreover the government unveiled it will name new names for vacant portfolios in the government to replace ministers in the West Bank who were forced to resign under threats from Fatah vandals there urging elements of the PA police to assume national duties and to report to their workplaces.
In the West Bank PA security elements loyal to Abbas along with Fatah vandals and elements of the “treason trend” continued atrocities against innocent Palestinian citizens on allegations they were Hamas sympathizers and supporters.
A number of homes of Hamas cadres were stormed by those hooligans who wreaked havoc on them and stole computers and other property similar to what the IOF troops were exactly doing during incursions and raids on Palestinian cities.
The vandals also forced elected officials of local municipal councils in a number of districts to leave their offices and replaced them with Fatah people.
Olmert Bush back Abbas:
In Washington US President George W. Bush and Israeli premier Ehud Olmert announced their full support to Abbas and his illegitimate emergency government in confronting Hamas Movement.
They also alleged they were adhering to establishing a Palestinian state based on their vision of a “two-state” solution.
They explained they have a common strategic plan to fight Hamas in Gaza Strip and urged Abbas to hit the “extremists” in Gaza Strip.
Hamas Movement won democratic elections in 2006 and gained the blessing of the majority of the Palestinian people after it announced it will remain faithful to the Palestinian national constants and aspirations.
But the USA and Israel were extremely dissatisfied with results of the democracy in Palestine prompting both states to lead an international economic embargo against the Palestinian people for electing Hamas to rule them.
Moreover the two parties were striving hard to topple the elected PA government and to mar every effort aimed at achieving Palestinian national unity by using their agents in the Palestinian arena who were lately disgraced and defeated in Gaza Strip at the hands of Hamas fighters and the Palestinian people and fled to the West Bank.
