The Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday condemned the Israeli “brutal quelling” of Palestinian peaceful protests and repeated violations committed against Palestinian civilians.
The ministry stressed that the Israeli policy of quelling Palestinian civilians aims at weakening the Palestinians’ determination and forcing them to submit to the Israeli settlement expansion plans.
“Palestinian civilians organize peaceful demonstrations in protest at the Israeli expansionist plans including land confiscation and home demolition in addition to blocking the entrances of villages and preventing the civilians from reaching there” the ministry affirmed.
It underlined that such Israeli policies aim at escalating the situation in the Palestinian arena calling for urgent international intervention to pressure Israel to halt its repeated attacks against the Palestinian people lands and holy sites.
