Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces arrested on Saturday the Palestinian ex-detainee and university lecturer Hamdan Ahmad and summonsed six others for questioning. Scores of others are still illegally detained in the PA jails.
The political detainee Hamdan from Ramallah was summonsed by the PA intelligence apparatus last Sunday. He was previously arrested two months ago after attacking him along with his wife in central Ramallah.
The same apparatus maintained the remand of Ayyash Abu Alya student at Birzeit University for the 12th consecutive day.
In Qalqilya the PA intelligence forces served new summonses in Immatein town against 6 Palestinians including two minors.
The PA preventive apparatus in the city continued the detention of the ex-detainee Mohammad al-Aqra in Jericho jail for 28 days in a row. Another ex-prisoner Amjad Hantash has also been imprisoned for 12 consecutive days.
