PA forces arrest summon 12 West Bankers over the past few days

The Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces arrested 12 Palestinian youths including six ex-prisoners and a university student amid an atmosphere that bodes well for reaching a national reconciliation.

Hamas Movement affirmed in a press statement issued today that the PA Preventive Service (PPS) arrested late yesterday three youths including a university student and an ex-prisoner from Ramallah after being summoned for investigation.

Another youngster was summoned for investigation early today.

In al-Khalil the PPS arrested an ex-prisoner after being summoned for investigation Sunday morning.

Another former political prisoner was also detained along with his son.

Also in al-Khalil two brothers were arrested after PA forces violently stormed their family house.

Two days earlier PPS arrested a young man after violently breaking into his house in Nablus. His lap top was confiscated during the raid.

Three ex-prisoners were also detained in Jenin.

Dozens of Palestinian youths are currently held in PA forces for their political affiliation some of whom declared hunger strike in protest against their arbitrary detention.
