GAZA (PIC)– The Legitimate PA caretaker government under Prime Minister Ismail Haneyya has decided to dissolve the ill-fated PA preventive security apparatus that was founded and controlled by Fatah MP Mohammad Dahalan.
The government also affirmed that elements of the defunct apparatus will join the PA police force.
The decision was made during the weekly session of the constitutional PA caretaker government Monday where it also endorsed a number of resolutions including forming a committee for national reconciliation among Palestinian families in a bid to solve all family feuds and disputes amicably.
A statement issued by the government after the session declared rejection of the “extortion policy” practiced by PA chief Mahmoud Abbas and his unconstitutional emergency government under Salam Fayyad in denying salaries of the PA employees in Gaza Strip.
“All PA employees have the right to receive their salaries to the last penny as money of the PA is owned by the Palestinian people and not by a party per se” the statement affirmed.
In addition the statement lashed out at the “fabricated” statements issued by the information minister in Fayyad’s illegitimate government Riyadh Al-Maliki who alleged that Al-Qaeda group has a safe haven in Gaza Strip.
“These are false claims meant to instigate the world against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip with the aim to tighten the economic siege on them” the statement furthermore asserted.
Hamas denied any presence of Al-Qaeda group in Gaza Strip affirming that the Strip is enjoying an unprecedented peaceful atmosphere the first of its kind in 13 years describing Maliki’s accusations as “pointless” and will not affect the legitimate government’s performance.
Furthermore Hamas affirmed that the PA interior ministry in Gaza Strip was doing a great job in fighting corruption and corrupt people who embezzled the people’s money.
It on the other hand threw the ball into Abbas’s court and accused his unconstitutional government and PA forces loyal to him of violating human rights in the West Bank and fighting the legitimate Palestinian resistance.
The Movement also described Abbas-Olmert meetings as “futile” that bring no good to the Palestinian people and instead give Israel’s repressive measure against the Palestinian people the needed political cover.
