GAZA (PIC)– Armed elements affiliated with the mutiny trend within Fatah faction on Monday shot at the building of the PA council of ministers blocking the convening of the weekly cabinet session.
Official sources and eyewitnesses said that a group of the Fatah mutineers opened indiscriminate fire at the cabinet’s premises in Shati refugee camp forcing postponement of the weekly session.
The witnesses said that the armed men were occupying a number of apartments in Bakri residential towers overlooking the cabinet headquarters and added that no casualties were suffered as a result of the shooting.
Burhan Hammad the Egyptian security delegation head in Gaza described those igniting strife each time calm prevails as “devilish hands” that play with fire warning that the fire will burn the hands of those who light it.
