Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces on Thursday rounded up four Palestinian ex-prisoners and summonsed a fifth. Moreover the PA security forces assaulted one of the captives and continued the arrest of many others.
The PA intelligence forces arrested an ex-detainee in Tulkarem city after beating him brutally until he fainted. His brother was summonsed to be interrogated as well.
Palestinian sources revealed that the political captive Basem Ja’ar from Tulkarem has been subjected to severe torture in the dungeons of the PA preventive security forces.
In al-Khalil the same apparatus arrested an ex-prisoner while he was returning back home from travel along with another man from Sourif town near the city. Another ex-detainee from Ethna town was also captured by the PA intelligence forces after being chased for several days.
