Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces quelled a peaceful march in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners at al-Shuhada Street in Bab al-Zawiya area in al-Khalil.
The PIC reporter revealed that the PA security forces used batons to disperse the marchers and arrested two of them after assaulting the participants. The protesters chanted anti-Israel slogans and others against the PA and security coordination.
The PA quelling of the solidarity march coincided with Israeli firing of tear gas grenades at the participants he added.
